Once again, the Belwood Lake Sailing club graciously hosted our Labour Day weekend events. They even did a pretty credible job supplying the excellent weather we had requested!
We were able to get a reasonbly early start and so we were able to get in 5 races before coming off the water in time for the afternoon AGM. We decided to dispense with the second day of single-handed racing so we could hold the Graham Pilling Provicial Championship Regatta early: too many people were unable to make the usual date.
Beating to windward on the first leg.
Midway through the race.
On the last leg of the race, it's a parade to the finish line. Aleid breaks out his spinnaker, but to no avail - he is unable to catch up with Steve and Dawn.
At the finish.

Note: Since there were 5 races, each skipper's worst result was thrown-out.
Again, we had some great racing conditions. Our race committee set up a course out of the way of the BLSC Sunday afternoon races, and we were able to get some great races in. Just as important, there were enough enthusiastic crew members available that no one had to sail single-handed.
